Celebrating 26 years of the Drive to Create!
The pinnacle of Houston Art Car Parade Weekend is the Parade itself! On May 11th, 2013 over 300 jaw-dropping cars, bikes, skaters, and motorized creatures will roll down Allen Parkway, from Waugh Drive to Bagby, and blow the minds of 300,000 spectators. There's a full day of events leading up to it - make sure you get there early!

The Starting Line Party opens to the public.
Head down to Taft & Allen Parkway and get your day started in the company of thousands of Houston Art Car Parade participants including impromptu dance parties, music, wild costumes, and a lot of laughs!
FPSF STAGE
Put on your dancing shoes and hop on over to the FPSF Stage sponsored by Free Press Houston for great live music!

THE PARADE ROLLS!
Grab your spot along Allen Parkway early, so you have the best views! We encourage you to bring lawn chairs, blankets, umbrellas for shade, sunscreen, a camera, and plenty of water!
Generally, the parade lasts from 1pm - 3pm, but you don't want to miss a single second of the action!
Our wonderful food and drink vendors will be scattered throughout the parade route to quench your thirst and fill your belly, so bring some cash!
