Celebrating 26 years of the Drive to Create!
The pinnacle of Houston Art Car Parade Weekend is the Parade itself! On May 11th, 2013 over 300 jaw-dropping cars, bikes, skaters, and motorized creatures will roll down Allen Parkway, from Waugh Drive to Bagby, and blow the minds of 300,000 spectators. There's a full day of events leading up to it - make sure you get there early!
DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR SATURDAY MORNING, THE PARADE SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED
The Starting Line Party opens to the public.
Head down to Taft & Allen Parkway and get your day started in the company of thousands of Houston Art Car Parade participants including impromptu dance parties, music, wild costumes, and a lot of laughs!
Put on your dancing shoes and hop on over to the FPSF Stage sponsored by Free Press Houston for great live music!
The Kids Zone is a fantastic spot to both watch the parade, and let the kids express their creativity! This is truly an art extravaganza and you don't want to miss out!
