The oldest and largest parade of its type in the world takes over Houston April 7-10, 2022! Featuring four full days of excitement and creativity, Houston Art Car Parade Weekend presented by Team Gillman features over 250 mobile masterpieces designed and created by artists, individuals, schools, non-profits, corporations and anyone with a dream and a set of wheels.

Powered by the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, one of the leading folk and outsider art organizations in the country, the Houston Art Car Parade presented by Team Gillman celebrates the artist in everyone and the "drive to create," and has become one of the most recognized and beloved events in Houston.

A city-wide preview of the Houston Art Car Parade, bringing a selection of mobile works of art to schools, developmental centers, nursing homes and more

Celebrate the beginning of Houston Art Car Parade Weekend with at Discovery Green! Music, food & drinks, kids activities, and an incredible selection of art cars, all within the beautiful grounds of Discovery Green and the backdrop of Downtown Houston

FRIDAY, APRIL 8
THE LEGENDARY ART CAR BALL \\ 6-11PM
The ultimate kickoff to the Houston Art Car Parade, and one of the most colorful and exciting nights of the year! The Legendary Art Car Ball, taking place annually on the eve of the parade, has been known for decades as THE place to show off your weird, colorful and creative side.
Join a couple thousand of your best friends along wth hundreds of illuminated and fire-breathing Art Cars, to enjoy a night under the stars at The Orange Show World Headquarters, complete with live music, performance art, dynamic visuals, food, drinks, and so much more!

We offer reserved bleacher seating along the parade route for an easy, hassle-free experience watching the Houston Art Car Parade.
THE VIPit EXPERIENCE

Get the best views of the entire Houston Art Car Parade at the VIPit Experience! The largest fundraiser for the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, tickets to VIPit Experience include complimentary food and beverages from the city's best bars and restaurants, live music, reserved shaded seating with incredible views, children's art activities, swag bags, and more! Over 250 mobile masterpieces will take to Allen Parkway and Downtown Houston for the 35th year! Be one of the hundreds of thousands that will line the streets to witness some of the world's most creative works of art on wheels. Don't miss what the whole city will be talking about. ART CAR PARADE AWARD CEREMONY
at The Orange Show Headquarters \\ 12PM
Each year the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art awards over $15,000 in prize money to artists, schools, and teams through a judging process. The public is invited to come cheer on those winners who's entries have wowed and amazed the judges and the crowds.
