Hosted by the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, the Legendary Art Car Ball is a vibrant mix of music, spectacle, and of course - ART CARS! Come dressed in your wildest attire or just as you are!

This year’s Art Car Ball delivers a stacked, high-energy lineup that will flow seamlessly from legendary roots to immersive curiosity. Headlined by iconic New Orleans funk and Mardi Gras Indian Bo Dollis Jr. and the Wild Magnolias, the night will also feature Zydeco powerhouse Step Rideau and the Zydeco Outlaws, blues guitarist Shawn Allen, and a surreal DJ set from Poncili Creacion performed from a custom art car.

The Wild Magnolias are a legendary Mardi Gras Indian tribe and New Orleans funk band, blending traditional folk sounds with funk and R&B while showcasing elaborate, handcrafted ceremonial suits on stage. Now led by Big Chief Bo Dollis Jr., the group carries forward a globally celebrated legacy and rarely makes appearances in Houston.
